 The KJN-7EX consists of IP cores that conform to the JPEG baseline format/JPEG Extended DCT-based process for compressing/decompressing 8bit/12bit still images.

• Achieving efficient compression rate by using our original Huffman table for 12bit JPEG which is higher image quality and higher image tone than 8bit JPEG.

The KJN-X Series consists of IP cores that support the JPEG XR format, a new file type for continuous-tone still images, which conforms to the international standard still image compression coding system (JPEG XR image coding system Part 2: image coding specification (ISO/IEC 29199-2)) succeeding the JPEG and JPEG 2000 formats.
